Catching Up

I swear I didn’t drop off the edge of the earth. I’m still here. I’m still writing.

A lot.

Working for yourself is great, but when it comes to balancing work and life, it also requires a lot of discipline and organization. Two things which I occasionally lack. I seem to go through phases of both discipline and organization when it comes to my writing life. However, when I do go off the rails it basically results in me frantically trying to play catch up.

So here I am…catching up.
I can tell you that I’m working on a very cool new project that I’m really excited about. It’s a contemporary women’s fiction/ romance (that’s code for a great story about a kick ass woman who also has a love interest.) The working title is Stripper Mom, but don’t get too excited, it just happens to be a handy title that my critique group enjoys. I can’t wait to share more details about this one!

Also, I’ve been playing with some new covers for my Castle Mountain Lodge romance series. Why? Cause I can. And like with Nothing Stays In Vegas, sometimes change is good.
I’ll be revealing those covers soon. Very soon… stay tuned.

Until then I’m hibernating in my writing cave doing my best to catch up with everything and drinking more coffee and tea then is probably healthy.

This was a super yummy latte I had at the Sheraton in Surrey. Yum…I wish they delivered.

  1. I’m the same way with my writing. I go through periods of losing track of what I am supposedly doing, and then periods of losing myself in my work. It’s great you have so much going on, and I am definitely intrigued by the title of your new book.

Tell me what you think
